Silicone SpongeSeals

Silicone sponge strips are used where high temperature sealing is required and function is paramount. Silicone foam products have excellent performance properties such as low compression set, high & low temperature stability . Silicone sponge strips are robust in nature, but do offer compression unlike the solid variant of the base material. This gives an added value where uneven surfaces need to be sealed. Various densities of silicone seals can be manufactured to accommodate every application.
Much like silicone rubber, which is often used for gaskets and seals, silicone sponge has an excellent ability to bear high temperatures that would otherwise cause a material to contract and expand. Our product has a significant threshold of thermal stability, remaining completely robust in temperatures from -50°C to 250°C, and it’s exactly for that reason that it sees an ideal use within industrial applications. The most Common applications are oven door seals, lighting seals, hob seals and fire seals.
